Ever since Hillary announced she was running for president, I have received emails from her, her campaign, Bill, Chelsea, and many of my state democrats. I almost feel like the Clintons are stalking me. They want my support. Hill wants me to donate just $1.00.
I can call her Hill because she sends me so many emails I feel we are tight. Why just last month I got invited to her birthday party. If that wasn’t nice enough I was invited to win 2 tickets to her party, airfare and hotel included! I didn’t win. I did get an email that said the party was great, and too bad I didn’t get a chance to attend.
In 2008 I supported Hillary until she lost to President Obama and then of course I supported him. In 2016, I think she will make a great president, role model worthy of the first woman president.
But what is with the strategy of asking for just $1.00? Surely I can spare a few more bucks to put my money where my mouth is. I mean a dollar?
She’s asking for involvement, and support, I understand, but $1.00?Certainly I would spend more on a birthday gift if I went to her party.
Should I write and tell her or Bill or Chelsea or her campaign or whomever else emails me on her behalf that she has my vote? Would that donation get me into the mix of only 1 email per week from the Clintons?
What if I replied to the next email from Hillary’s campaign stating she has my vote and I give $20.00 with a note that I would love if they could follow me on Twitter and like my Facebook page? Is that bribery? I don’t want to get Hill into any email trouble but we are so tight? Right?
Are you getting emails from your political favorites?
